Mr. Gajendra Singh
Chairman


Mr. Gajendra Singh, Director (Marketing), GAIL has had an illustrious career in hydrocarbon sector. He completed his post graduate degree in Physics (Specialization in Electronics) from Dehradun (Uttarakhand) in 1984. He started his carrier as Software Engineer for processing and interpreting of seismic data in Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC).He joined GAIL (India) Limited in 1986 when Gas Industry in India was at its nascent stage. Mr. Singh is one of the members of 1ST Graduate Engineers batch of GAIL.
He has thus been among the pioneers and visionaries who charted the growth of the organization. Mr. Singh has been involved in the execution of several prestigious projects of GAIL starting from the HVJ and has held various leadership and strategic positions. Some of these key roles where he has served as the Head of Department include General Manager (Gas Sourcing and Gas Marketing), Executive Director (GAILTEL and Information Technology), ED (Operations & Maintenance) and currently serving as ED (Exploration & Production). Over the past 26 years Mr. Singh gained varied experience and competence in the areas related to Automation of Business process (including HR process), Operation & Maintenance, Project Management,Contracts Management, Customer Relationship Management, Marketing, exploration and production etc.
During the course of his illustrious carrier, Mr. Singh has been responsible for several business-critical and key assignments, many of which have been 1st of their kind for an organization and for India. Some of these include Sourcing & Marketing of Spot LNG, Implementation of Gas Management System (GMS), Central Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition(SCADA) System. Further, Mr. Singh has been responsible for GAIL’s entry into the Telecom Business and for enhancement of productivity & efficiency through automation of all business processes by implementing SAP ERP and SRM solutions.
He was appointed as GAIL nominee Director in MNGL (Maharashtra Natural Gas Limited) Board, Pune, a city gas distribution company, in 2010. He is now the Chairman of MNGL since December 2012 and has been contributing in successfully running and achieving targets. He has also been appointed as GAIL nominee Director in GAIL Global (Singapore) Pte Ltd. Boardsince October 2012.
In the present assignment as the Director (Marketing), he is responsible to fulfill GAIL’s vision to source significant quantities of hydrocarbon from domestic avenues to facilitate capacity utilization of pipeline infrastructure and to meet the organizational growth.

MANOJ JAIN
Director (Business Development), GAIL



Mr. Manoj Jain, a Mechanical Engineering Graduate and MBA in Operations Management possesses rich and diverse experience encompassing more than 32 years with GAIL (India) Ltd. in the areas of Projects, O&M, Petrochemicals, Pipeline Integrity Management and Marketing which has allowed him to gain insight and knowledge across multiple business units and functional areas.
Before being appointed as Director (Business Development), Mr. Manoj Jain was responsible for Gas Marketing activities in his role as Executive Director (Marketing-Gas).
Mr. Jain also spearheaded the installation and commissioning of the Rs 10000 Cr grassroots Petrochemical complex at Lepetkata Assam, as Chief Operating Officer of Brahmaputra Cracker and Polymer Ltd, (BCPL).
Earlier, Mr. Jain also worked in Operation & Maintenance at the Corporate Level for a number of years and his experience includes managing logistics of Gas Business with a perspective of Operation and Management of all pipelines of company and in the process played a significant role in establishing the National Gas Management Centre (NGMC) and systems and procedures for transmission and marketing of comingled gases.
Mr. Manoj Jain is also currently, Chairman of Central UP Gas Ltd (CUGL) & Konkan LNG Pvt. Ltd (KLPL) and Director on the Boards of Indraprastha Gas Ltd. & Gail Global Singapore Pte. Ltd.

Mr. Anjani Kumar Tiwari
Director


Shri Anjani Kumar Tiwari, Executive Director (F&A) in GAIL (India) Limited is Cost Accountant by Professional Qualification. He joined GAIL in the year 1995 as Manager (F&A). Prior to joining GAIL, he also served National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC), Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam Limited (SJVNL) and Cawanpore Chemicals.He is active member of The Institute of Cost Accountants of India and The Institute of Directors. Currently Shri. Tiwari is HoD (Finance & Accounts) of GAIL (India) Limited, a Maharatna PSU.
He is also Director in GAIL Gas Ltd., Green Gas Ltd., & RGPPL.
He has rich experience of more than 35 years in the areas of Project Finance, Corporate Finance, Taxation, Treasury, Capital Budgeting etc. During GAIL he served as HoD of Project Finance, O&M, E&P, HVJ, JLPL and Corporate Finance activities. He also served as Chief Finance Officer in Brahmaputra Cracker & Polymer Limited (BCPL), Assam having Rs. 10,000 crore investments. In addition to the system development the Financial Closure was completed in BCPL.

He is avid reader and poet by nature.

Mr. KARMJIT SINGH



Mr Singh was the Chief Executive of SATS Airport Services from 1998 to 2004. He was appointed the Chief Operating Officer of SATS in 2004, where he held the position till his retirement in 2009. Mr Singh is an Independent Director at Keppel Telecommunications & Transportation since 2010.
Prior to joining SATS in 1998, Mr Singh was with Singapore Airlines for 24 years, serving in senior management positions covering corporate affairs, public affairs, corporate planning, aviation fuel, commercial purchasing and administrative services. He was the Chairman of Asia Airfreight Terminal Hong Kong and Aerolog Express, and Director of Asia-Pacific Star, SATS Airport Services, Virgin Aviation Services, SATS Investments, and Taj-SATS Catering. He also served as a Board Member (as Representative for IATA), Air Transport Action Group from 1995 to 2006.
Mr Singh has been the Chairman of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport, Singapore since 1992. He has been a Board Member of the Public Transport Council since 2005 and a Member of the Singapore Institute of Directors since 2006. He was Chairman of the SingPost Advisory Council on E-Commerce and E-Fulfilment. Mr Singh was also a Board Member at The Logistics Institute – Asia Pacific (T-LIAP) since 2003, and a Member at Industry User Council (Logistics & Transport) since 2004. He was a Director of GATI Asia Pacific, as well as Advisor to CEO/SVP NIIT Technologies. He served in the Land Transport Authority (LTA) as a Member of the Downtown Line Tender Steering Committee. He was a Member IE’s India Networking Steering Committee since 2004.
Mr Singh has delivered speeches at international forums, including the Organisation for Economic Co-operation & Development, Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation, and International Air Transport Association ,and Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport(CILT).Mr Singh was conferred the 2014 National Day Awards Public Service Medal. He graduated from the University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Arts in Geography (Honours – Gold Medallist).
